  • Definitely take it back to the dealer to have those surge brakes looked at. We don't have huge hills here in TX but my boat trailer has similar weight and never turned the rotors purple..... And wear the kill switch lanyard. It's a ticket in all 50 states now.

    • They need a break controller for a trailer can turn up n down how much force you want on your breaks to stop it

    • @Trailing Accomplice We're mixing up a few different conversations here. The trailer has brakes to slow and help stop the trailer. That solution requires a cable and some solution that to apply the trailer's brakes if the trailer ever gets free from the truck while towing. A separate discussion was about using the boat. Smaller boats have a "kill switch" which will cut the motor if the driver gets thrown out of the driver's seat. There is a federal law requiring their use when the boat is being driven on plane for most smaller boats that don't have driving station inside a cabin. The federal law is new... issued sometime within the past 3 years or so.

    • In Tennessee the kill switch is not required to be worn unless you are on a pwc(jet ski). But it’s always a good idea to wear it, you just have to make sure you have the appropriate number of life jackets, and anyone born after January 1st 1989 must have a boater license to operate a boat on public water. Hope that helps, have fun!

    • @Chris Maxwell what car is manufactured without belts now?

    • @tlee67 Not with this kind of brake setup! The trailer brakes work the same whether the truck is braking OR in a lower gear. I would have preferred an electric brake setup because they are adjustable (usually).

  • Nice boat! Congratulations, you've earned it! It's always refreshing to see you guys having fun and enjoying the fruits of your hard work.

    • Wow That's definitely good🔝🔝 I really appreciate you all of my subscribers for the love you guys have shown to me. and for that I've decided to randomly select few of you to.give you insight and make you financially buoyant as well 📩...

  • Nice to you guys having a great time with the new boat. Good to see you’re both healing up pretty well. Definitely keep an eye on those brakes, doesn’t seem normal. Great seeing the shop nearly complete. Take care and hope you’re doing better soon.

  • Boats amazing, the garage amazing and you guys are amazing keep up the great work 💪

  • That’s a nice boat!! Glad to see you guys enjoying life and do what you like the most, all my best wishes to both of you hard working dudes 🙏🏽👏🏽💪🏽 🛥

  • Hi Simon, avoid exposing your chest to the sun it would permanently mark your skins and those burns marks would remain, keep protected from sun exposure until it heals completely

    • Last fight ilaward.info/the/wyd-w/06Vr266TwGeYiXo

    • He doesn’t wear one to show off. He’s that person

    • It's what I think everytime I see him exposing the burning skin. I burned both hands 10 years ago and wore my gloves all the time, after 6 months nobody could figure out I burned my hands. Also Aloe Vera is amazing for healing burned skin.

    • I had burns much worse than his on my legs/feet and can confirm. Sun exposure will change the color of your burnt skin even after your burn heals. The reverse happens with scabbed over skin, the area around the scab becomes darker and you get a much lighter scar... makes for a lasting memory!

    • He should prank his brother with a temporary airbrushed dragon tattoo across the chest.

  • Need an episode with all the framers/construction guys out on the boat 🤘🏽for an afternoon

    • ⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️Thanks for going through our videos. Inbox me to Grab ownership of a prize⬆️⬆️

  • Go Mel!! Thanks for uploading fellas! Hope you guys heal good n fast !!

  • Props to Yamaha for making amazing boats. I’ve always been a fan of mastercraft boats but I wouldn’t mind having one of these

  • Glad to see you guys are recovering well! That boat is bada$$. Love the content and the Dang Sauce is great! We are on our second bottle!

  • both of these guys are injured and they are still uploading NO EXCUSES keep grinding boys @goonzquad

    • @you’re* no shot

    • @Staily Dormer 🤣🤣

    • @you’re* Are ya kiddin' me? If anything I was gonna say they're* on some pain killers. Their* bodies are messed up. Want some good advice? Worry about yourself. There* ya go, homie.

  • man i wish my brotherly relationship was like yours. just found you guys... so far i like your video's

  • Amazing video guys. Definitely build the fence yourself, especially since it's gonna be chain link, it won't be extremely difficult and I think y'all would love learning about it.

  • Congrats on the new boat and thank you for everything you do!

  • Dear Eleazar and Simeon, Eleazar’s Yamaha 255XD Ski boat is really the top of the bill in this class of boats. We hope your family will enjoy cruising and relaxing with this boat a lot. We also wish you both a speedy recovery so you can start working on your projects again and wish you as well as your complete family all the happiness of the world plus we send you ❤️ from the Netherlands. Best regards, Willeke and Dick de Graaff

  • Doesn’t sound right to have really really hot brakes then quenching them in water. Definitely need to talk to the dealership about that. Love the channel boys!!

    • Last fight ilaward.info/the/wyd-w/06Vr266TwGeYiXo

    • @Jay exactly, after spending $100,000 on a boat, they should address any issue and or describe proper towing techniques with surge brakes. They do take a bit of learning process/feel on how to engage and most importantly, disengage the brakes. The aluminum car trailer I use has surge brakes and at times one has to actually punch the throttle briefly going downhill to get them to disengage.

    • @Dean Tuttle Makes complete sense. I’d still take it to the dealership just to make sure but almost certainly you’re right.

    • @John Carter You don’t know that just from watching. That’s the reason you need to take your vehicles to the shop or inspect it yourself instead of just guessing from a video. They need to take it back to the dealership and let them handle it.

    • 100% Agree - While hydraulic / surge trailer brakes can be adjusted there is also technique to driving downhill on this kind of trailer setup. For the most part surge break activation is binary meaning ON or OFF. If the driver is applying short burst 35-40% brake applications while traversing a 45 degree grade such as the mountain driveway the trailer piston will translate this to full brake application which will cause the trailer breaking system to overheat. Best method to navigate a steep grade on a heavy rig with hydraulic surge brakes is with gear shifting, If this is not an option (automatic trans without low gear standard shifting) then avoid short bursts with longer >15% brake applications.

  • Hope you guys have a fast recovery. Sending good vibes from California!!!!

  • You fellas are doing great with slowing down for recovery.👍🏼...CONGRATS on the boat! You're a good man Si. Alright gentlemen. Stay in recovery mode for a while longer. We're not going anywhere.🍻

  • Your sister looks to be the queen of the waves! 😁👍 Keep up the awesome work guys! 😛

  • Awesome videos. Feel better. Here's the scoop regarding your brakes. Your current surge brakes aren't good for going down mountain roads. When descending the mountain side, the weight of the boat and trailer push against your truck, causing the brake actuator in the trailer's tongue to compress which applies the trailer brakes. Purple colored rotors are definitely a sign of the overheating. The surge brake actuator that came with your trailer usually works OK, but it's horrible for descending mountainsides. Ditch that brake actuator, and upgrade your system to use an electro-hydraulic brake actuator on your trailer and add a full-featured inertia sensing electronic brake controller to your truck. Ditch the surge brakes and the factory brake controller. You live on a mountainside... your use is not "typical', and so the typical solution that is fine for most people isn't very good for the Goonzquad! Anyone else wanna comment?

  • If your brakes keep getting that hot going up down the mountain.. I'd check with the dealership or check the manual. If they fail..it could end very bad. Good lucky boys🤟

    • @Eric Schutt it constantly amazes me how these boys know so much but so little at the same time. Anyone who knows anything knows those brakes are locked on and cooked and that's why the raptor is struggling.

    • Last fight ilaward.info/the/wyd-w/06Vr266TwGeYiXo

    • @Eric Schutt Ha, didn't think of that, but it's totally true. Regardless those brand new brakes are beyond saving. Shit got cooked.

    • It’s also why the truck is struggling to pull it.

    • ⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️Thanks for going through our videos. Inbox me to Grab ownership of a prize☝️☝️☝️⬆️⬆️!

  • That's what I like about you guys you are always positive keep up the good work get well soon

  • When you're on the water take off the bumpers/fenders and put in a storage compartment. Pull em out and put on when docking or rafting to other boats, bouncing around will eventually scratch the clear coat. Nice lookin vessel, respect the water and enjoy!!

    • ⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️Thanks for going through our videos. Inbox me to Grab ownership of a prize⬆️⬆️!!

  • We love your content dude, good recovery! Nice video!

  • You guys are killing it, like someone said before “both of y’all are injured and still grinding”. Keep up the good videos but as a boat guy I must suggest only use non-ethanol gas. You never have to worry about fuel issues and with a boat like that you can afford it. Looking forward to some more boat videos, I live in eastern NC but have family in Chattanooga. Keep up the good work!

  • Love the new boat, one thing when pulling off from the ramp and the boat is on the trailer, keep the engine running and push down on the throttle to remove the excess water. Keep it up love watching yalls videos.

  • Beautiful boat, love the color and the features too. I think little sister is the rising star here, doing an awesome job doing the camera work and will soon be doing tricks on that wakeboard too. Probably a good idea to have that trailer checked out and pay close attention to those wheel bearings. Bring a little temperature gun with you to check them.

  • glad to see you both recovering well... also Happy Birthday.. .abit blelated. The new boat needs a goonzquad logo...lol.. Glad you are enjoying the gift you received..

  • Congratulations to you guys, you deserve have a nice boat 🛥 and much more , enjoy!!

  • You Guys Rock 🎸 keep up the good work hope yall have a speedy recovery in Jesus name GODSPEED one

  • You’ll have an easier time starting the wake surf on your feet versus knees. Just let the board float. Set your heals on it and as the boat pulls, push down and stand up, the fins will straighten up the board. Easy as that! Great job. Love the videos

  • Just a quick comment for you guys! My parents just sold their Yamaha 242 limited s with the twin jet drive. A few things we found are DEFINITELY pull up the carpets before you go. Those snap in carpets are awesome but if you lose one you have to buy the whole set. 😵‍💫 The engines should still have some clean out ports in the back incase a rope or weeds get wrapped around the impeller. Vaseline on those help to make sure they seal. My parents had one pop up and the boat started to take on water, no big deal for the bilge though. just like any boat, open every compartment or it will get that skunky water smell. If the back seats still unsnap to get to the Clea. out ports put some small pieces of wood or something under them when you're done. It traps water under there and it begins to try to mold. Magic eraser works incredible to clean things 😁😁 Absolutely gorgeous boat and wishing you both the best in your adventures

  • I was really worried you guys were going to give it up. My favorite channel on ILaward I have not missed a video in 2 years since I've been watching. Stay positive and get well soon guys you deserve that boat! Keep up the hard work.

    • There's no way they're giving it up. Especially since one got burned by a pot and the other fell off a board lol Plus this is their job. They make good money and get to have fun everyday. Quitting you tube *billy voice* that's insane!

    • How could they? They have no other income and a huge amount of debt. No way they could sustain their lifestyle without ILaward. Even if they sold up everything they wouldn't live long on the money. Can you imagine the mortgage payments on those houses? Plus they are supporting their parents and younger siblings.

  • I look at you guys with pleasure every time, I haven't missed a single clip since you had 100 subscribers. I wish you good health and speedy recovery! I'm waiting for you to start the repairs at Porsche :)

  • get well soon guys, thanks for still putting out videos, also very nice boat

  • Amazing video n glad yall on the road to recovery...yall are awesome

  • Beautiful boat I actually have a 2019 275SD and it's been a great time for me and the family we are 125hrs and it's been very trouble free so far just stay on top of the basic maintenance and it should treat u good

  • Take your time and heal, both of you! You guys are awesome!

  • Nice boat! Make sure you know "no wake" zones and wear your kill switch.

  • Billy on the boat, is like a kid in a candy store! He looks so happy!

    • Tell Billy that we don't want none of that Dawg Shite Sauce in the UK !!!

    • It's a frickin boat! Of course they are happy. They're livin every guy's dream. Summer is here. A boat is a gatdam dream vehicle.

  • Best of luck with your health issues. looking forward to your recovery. Blessings

  • That's so awesome. The boat is so dope. And driving it through the river in between all those trees the scenery looked amazing. I bet when y'all heal up the wake boarding is gonna be fun.

  • You guys are some future legends in the car world fr keep it up and get well soon🙏🏼🚀

  • Wow! What a awesome review. Love the boat and get well soon.

  • Great to see you guys enjoying the fruits of your labor. You have one of the best work ethics I've seen on ILaward and should reap the rewards. Awesome boat anchors away....

  • You need to use that break lock, its for reverse but with the grade your driving the boat is pushing forward. Then you need to take into account the extra stopping power needed by the truck. Great stuff guys, amazing motivational vibes lol

    • ⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️Thanks for going through our videos. Inbox me to Grab ownership of a prize⬆️⬆️!

  • You guys are absolutely amazing. Y'all are hurt and still finding something to film and get something out there. I love everything y'all do it's truly amazing.

  • That face on alazar while driving that boat is true Joy✌️ keep up boys and get well soon.

  • So glad you guys are healing quickly.Leaving the hands open to the air as much as possible allows the scabbing to dry and heal quicker.Wrap them at night,or obviously when going outside where dirt can get in.The boat is Awesome.A 'Porta-potty' is a definite Plus. You don't have to cut trips short.Congratulations GoonzQuad ! Your years of hard work are paying you back with some comforts, great homes, and all the Fans who count on your entertaining us too.

  • Thanks for taking us along for the boat test! 👍👍🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🤘🏻🤘🏻

  • You gotta appreciate that they are still uploading even when there intured love the husle

  • Hello Guys. Never commented here before but have been enjoying your videos since the start, have never missed one. Just wanted to hope and pray that both of you recover fully as soon as possible so that you can be back with your activities without a hitch. Regards.

  • Love the video take care guys and just remember we will always be waiting for next video.

  • You boys are living my dream life congrats

  • Great job you guys are doing. Will you be taking in outside repairs on a daily basis when your shop is ready?

  • Dude you guys would stand out in so cal but fit right in. Great video!

  • Guys ..... The office looks good, however remember to install windows on both walls, you need to see whats going on in the garage 👍

    • @Victor N. Uribe the cameras will be more for security outside. A window in the office would be good so that they can see things when they are in the office. But you are correct. Most likely they will not be in the office much. They have so many office spaces in the other buildings and they are hardly there.

    • Cameras my friends they are installing cameras but I don't think they will be in the office alot.

    • I think that the window to see the garage is a good idea as well.

    • 👆Congratulations thanks for being my subscriber inbox me to claim your prize..

  • you guys came to the next gen. I'm watching you all those years. supper happy about that.

  • Nice seeing your sister on the channel. Always nice with some fresh blood and I figured she was the one filming parts on the video. She's gotten really good at it. Keep up the good work!

  • That smile that billy has he’s so happy with his boat 🛥

  • We know your recovering, take care of yourselves and get better. The loyal watchers will be here for you 100% and watch whatever videos you upload. Keep up the good work, happy birthday and the new boat is sick!

  • STRAIGHT UP the hardest working family on ILaward. LET'S GO GOONZQUAD 💪

    • @Jack Alterman I am a 46 year old, I started working at 15, went in to the military right after graduation, following the military I started a career that has been going for 24 years. No silver spoon, No formal education. I have hired many privileged associates that are their ages and they do not grind nearly as hard as these guys. I hope my three children have their drive and follow their passion like these guys. Yes I will help my kids if I am able financially, if not I will encourage them through setting the example of a strong work ethic to get what you want while doing what others wont. I do not know these guys personally but have been watching for years and from what I can tell, it is not privilege that set them up for success.

    • @AnglingJunkees they do work very hard! But their success stems from privilege. Do you work hard and grind? Did you have your parents land and garage and financing available to you?

    • @Jack Alterman Seriously? These boyz have been grinding for a long time. They deserve everything they have and more. It did not happen overnight. They have built it though sweat equity and very little capital from the beginning. Editing videos alone is incredibly time consuming. This is not a 9-5, this is their everyday, all day. I am far from a kiss ass fanboy for anyone, but I appreciate and applaud anyone willing to GRIND for success.

    • @Jack Alterman He also said "on ILaward", not overall. I highly doubt he meant it 100% anyway, it's just something people say. Lighten up bro

    • Thanks for going through our videos.⬆️☝️ Inbox me 👆to Grab ownership of a prize

  • I think the raptor definitely needs to be considered for some helper bags in the rear she’s a little leaned back but gorgeous boat and they look so good both going down the road!!

  • Love the video. I would certainly check with dealer about the brakes. That doesn't sound kosher. But focus on the fun of using that sweet boat. With that I have thought of a few boat names for you. Knot Squad, Nauti Blue Waves, Second Chances (as in you give wrecked stuff 2nd chances), Blue Addiction, The Dang Boat.......

  • What’s up guys, glad to see your both healing up and feeling better. I’ve had boats for over 20 years and have never had rotors on a trailer turn purple from getting hot. It could be a couple things but I’d get a break controller for the raptor or try using the 450 and see if that helps as it has a built in controller. I’d definitely contact the dealer and let them know the trailer brakes are having issues.

    • @Becky Umphrey I know it’s hydraulic brakes on the trailer I have a hydraulic brakes on one of my trailers myself. My trailer uses electric still in order to back up (hence why there’s the little pin Billy points out in the video is there) the pins for when the trailers not connected to electric you put the pin in and it allows the trailer to back up. That’s why I spoke of a break controller or trying a vehicle with a controller as it’s made for towingX

    • Those are hydraulic breaks and do not use a controller like electric brakes do.

    • ⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️Thanks for going through our videos. Inbox me to Grab ownership of a prize☝️☝️☝️

  • That's a nice boat... Y'all are gonna have a lot of fun after you guys heal up... Keep grinding boys!!
